This is just plain weird to me because I see skunks all the time, I have no desire to wear them. A couple of times a year, my dogs get hit. Usually it's the lab, not the (smarter) border collie. But -- he got it a few weeks ago, first time in 8 years. With his thick coat it took a special session with the groomer and he still stinks. He tried to reduce the odor himself by rolling in a cow pie, which created another opportunity for a bath. And a new odor.
More exciting recent events -- a mountain lion attacked a fake/stuffed deer that a neighbor was using for target practice. :-O
