I did! I'm new to delurking on YLF, so this will be my first time being "in sync" as well. (My personal aesthetic, once I get up the courage to post WIW's, is also more bohemian and casual than the majority of YLF.)
I saw the booties in the catalog and dismissed them as being too crazy. Then I saw Angie's photograph of them and somehow they looked much more wearable under non-styled lighting. Emailed a friend who called them "edgy but sleek," and decided to go for it despite the price tag being twice what I've paid for any shoes in the past besides tall boots.
Ever since Angie's post on patterned accessories, I've been wondering why I have so few of them when I love pattern mixing so much. I'm pretty new to animal print, but gray python is more subtle than the classic spotted big cat. Excited to get inspiration from YLF about styling the booties!
