So I would like to get one last fun bag for summer/early fall (it will be hot and summer-y for a couple more months here), and I have been eying these over on Piperlime:

Lucky Crossbody in Purple. Love the size, the shape, where it would sit on my hip, THE COLOR. So fun! (For casual use only, alas.)

Frye Vintage Stud in Clay. Completely not me, but I can't stop staring at it. I'm very irked I did not get a white/cream bag this summer, and all my bags right now just feel too heavy in color. But I'm a little worried this might be too stiff and unsuitable.

Tano Little Tchotchke in White. This is much more me. Ooooh. I really like the simple style and the interesting strap.

Bella, that's what I am not sure of. I have a yellow crossbody that is starting to show its age, so I might use it more than I think. Lots of casual events coming up too!

tano, then frye vintage stud a distant second. the lucky brand crossbody is definitely casual so i wouldn't get it. but purple is a fab color on that bag.

I vote for the Lucky purple crossbody! I love my crossbody purses and this one would get you through the last month of summer, through all of fall, and heck, even as far into winter as you want if it doesn't look too tired.

My #2 vote would be for the Fyre. It is FUN and different for you! I am awfully practical, though, and would fret about the light color leather getting grubby or getting denim rub. . .

Well, I couldn't pull up the Lucky with any search term on the site, but did see the other two. I like them both; hard to recommend. The Frye one is awfully neat though.

I didn't see the Lucky either but i like the Tano over the Frye. It's a little more classic in style and I don't think it will date as fast as the Frye.

Ha, thank you all for the mixed "bag" of suggestions! Sadly, the purple Lucky crossbody is out of stock, which is the one I was most seriously considering.

Angie et al, I am not a studded boho type which is why my fascination with the Frye bag is freaking me out! I am thinking the Tano is more my style, and does have some edginess with the studded strap.

Of course, now I realize I am on several vacations this month and my window of opportunity for one last summer work bag has probably closed. Alas, next year I will start earlier!
