Since I haven't been to the USA in months I have been learning to shop locally despite my own protests. Only took me 5 years to attempt to overcome my bias. I have come to accept many brands just aren't available here and shipping isn't an option (high rate of theft and/or overcharging for customs and duties).
So while in one of the nicer department stores this week I took a look at the chicos store within a store. The concept is interesting, it's how they have Gap and BR as well. Separate section of store just for the brand.
Anyway I found these two tunics. I know chicos has a bad rap on the forum as being frumptastic but I was pretty impressed with the cuts, sleeves and fabric of these two. Pics are just on the hangers, trust me they look better on the body. Strangely couldn't find them on the store site.

Will try to post WIWs when I wear them.
So give it to me straight. Is this a step back? Or wear them with pride?
ETA - now dressed for daughter's 4th bday party. I had on different shoes but she asked me to wear my red peep toe pumps so I added a red necklace too. Thx for feedback. Oh and she took the pic...
