The Bay serves me Facebook ads all the time, many of them quite laughable (expensive designer items for someone else’s life). But this caftan caught my eye and I was quite excited to realize it’s from a Nigerian-born designer based in Toronto, brand name Rahyma. I’ve been focusing on Canadian brands this year, and also developing an interest in African prints, so this is right up my alley, and I’m impressed The Bay is carrying them.
Now I have no need for this dress, having acquired 3 long (but not 59” long!) summer dresses this year, and I’m pretty sure the print would overwhelm me. But I love it and may give it a try anyway
