I get their marketing letters, but to be honest I don't open them very often. I think I signed up because some of their iPhone cases caught my eye. They're preppy in that slicker-than-true-preppy way, which I guess is kind of what Kate Spade is. Suburban preppy, not Mayflower preppy.
Mind, I'm not being down on the look here. I quite like Kate Spade. LOVED those original handbags of hers and the current kitten heel thing she's got going on.
I didn't get the iPhone case because I felt more comfortable going with something designed by engineers as opposed to designers. Fashion is one thing, gear another.
