Thanks to all for your most encouraging feedback on my gala outfit. I was delighted that so many of you loved the pile of pearls I tried to put with it. A couple, though, asked to see the multi-strand necklace of champagne and silver pearls that I own in case it worked better with the nude lining of my lace dress. Below I present the two looks side by side, with the champagne pearls coming second.
I'm inclined to go with the white pearl mass instead for additional drama, but will defer to others if the champagne works better. Thoughts?
