I'm having a hard time shopping these days because I am loving everything in the stores and yet I live in the Pacific Northwest where summer is very short. I have run across a couple things that I love but passed on because I could not wear them outside of the very few days of heat we are blessed with here in the PNW. So maybe I am finally accepting that I no longer live in SoCal with its endless summer weather. All the summer items I have purchased are able to be layered to be more appropriate for the region.

One of the items that would work very well in PNW summers is a cute white denim jacket: white as a nod to the season and a jacket because its still chilly. I have not been able to find one that I liked and then they all sold out because I guess everyone else in my area had the same sartorial idea. I just got back from a nice trip to San Diego to see my old friends and went shopping and found a WHITE DENIM JACKET! Probably never sold down there since no-one wears jackets in the summer since its so hot. But I have imported it to the PNW and will get lots of wear out of it, I'm sure.

I've been here 5 years and I'm FINALLY figuring out how to dress for the climate.
