It's an Adrianna Papell dress that's on sale with a further 15% off. I don't have a specific occasion to wear it right now. I was thinking of Angie's suggestion to look at occasion wear when shopping for other things so that we have something in our closet to fall back on when the occasion comes up.

I want something versatile, that could perhaps span the seasons - possible? I'm not the biggest fan of black but thought it would be easy to pair with shoes and wear with hose when colder. I am also hoping that it is dressy enough for most occasions, including weddings but maybe too somber? I like that it has sleeves - so easy to wear stand-alone - but would it be difficult to add a topper?

I don't currently have a dressy dress. The dressiest thing I own is a black lace skirt.

Should I buy?
