Never mind the butt vest -- I'm all about the butt curtains!
In the interests of updating my summer wardrobe, I bought this top the other day. It looks like a normal flowy tee from the front, with flattering angled sleeves, but it's unexpectedly split up the back. The website calls it a "kite back" top. I showed my hubs yesterday and he loved it, saying, It's like curtains for your butt. He has a way with words, that man.
In case anyone's interested, it's from Aritzia and is called the Anvers top. Mine is black (the white is a touch too sheer for my taste), but it also comes in cobalt, dishwater grey and burgundy.
(It doesn't require any special undergarments, either -- an important consideration for me re. summer wear. Surprisingly, it doesn't reveal your bra band at all).
