I've got an interesting fashion dilemma at hand: I live in Seattle, so I'm all settled into my winter wardrobe. However, on Wednesday I'm flying out to Miami beach for a conference. I have no idea what to pack/wear! I know it's 80 degrees out there, but I assume the conference will be heavily air-conditioned. I want to wear clothes that are business casual trending towards smart casual.
I'm wondering about a few things:
- What temperature to dress for (how heavily air conditioned will it be inside? E.g., will I be comfortable in skirts and flats with bare legs?)
- Are there "seasons" in hot climates, which would mean there still is a kind of "winter wardrobe" in Miami Beach even if it doesn't mean boots and coats as in Seattle? And then what type of outfits would be comfortable AND stylish?
