Business casual

Hi everybody! I am trying to put together some business casual outfits to wear to Optometry school. I bought two blazers from h&m but now I'm lost on what to wear with them. My goal is to look nice but also be comfortable since I spend long days on campus. I prefer to wear flats for the comfort factor as well. I seem to have trouble picking out fashionable outfits when it comes to business or business casual I feel like I always pick out boring drab outfits that don't do anything for me.

Cute blazers! You could put them with black or navy pants and a print blouse (stripes, polka dots, kitties)! A metallic belt can add pizazz to a basic look as well.

Adelfa's suggestions are good. Very classic looks. I think charcoal pants and sweater would also like nice under both, and not be flashy.

I'm a big blazer fan, and those are very nice! I might wear them with black or grey pants, some cute printed tops, with scarves or necklaces adding an extra layer of interest. Wishing you much success with your schooling!

Or a ponte pencil skirt, tights and a lightweight sweater.

Both nice blazers. For more classic outfits, slim pants and a soft printed top would work well. Don't feel like you need to limit yourself to black/navy/gray on bottom though. Printed pants would be fun, as would white. If you like simpler outfits but still want some punch, I think having a print somewhere (either in the top or the bottom) will really help. I also like the idea of pairing with a skirt (and maybe some tall boots), but how well that works depends on the length of the jackets so it's something worth testing out.

I would pair them with brightly colored tops or camis (if mild weather) and then stick to more neutral bottoms. But I am not comfortable with a lot of color! Like Aida said, it's worth trying them out with skirts too, to see if the length is OK.

great blazers, i think these will work really well with a variety of pants. and don't limit your self to just flats, a nice boot or bootie will work for business casual.

I'm a big blazer fan, too. For a while, I tried to wear dressy cardigans, but they never seemed "business" enough to me. Now I'm slowly but surely collecting blazers, and am finding they work really well.
