I loved Angie’s burgundy item blog post this morning, and it’s timely for me as I have some new burgundy pieces that I will enjoy working with this fall/winter and beyond.

I happen to have these pics, taken by the boutique owner when I was in Santiago, Spain after completing my month+ long Camino walk. I was already wearing the black Rag & Bone wide-leg jeans and the cobalt COS tee, and I tried on this unusual burgundy jacket as soon as I saw it in the store. It coverts from a utility jacket style to a vest, and I’ve enjoyed wearing it a few different ways already. I actually like it quite a bit styled just as I tried it on. Of course I had to have it. It’s a bit oversized, but all the better for layering!

I like the pics even though I have zero makeup on and my hair is very shaggy (getting it cut today!). LOL I was still on my finished-the-Camino high!
