Burgundy Ankle Boots: Yay or Nay

Eyeing the ditto model (pic 1) in burgundy (pic 2 for color). I tried it in-store today and it was quite comfy (would be better with forefoot cushions) and fit my narrow ankles pretty well. Looked like they would go well with pants, skirts as well as dresses. Now my questions are:

1) Is it modern?
2) What kind of a toe box is this? Round or Almond?
3) Is it dressy or casual?

Is the sugar eye for the color and of course the price point is blinding me?

So we're talking about boot 1 but in the colour of 2?

I think, modern, not sure about the colour. I like the colour a lot on boot 2, but think that black is better for this cut of a biker-style boot to be honest.

Its not a round toe box.

I think its more casual than dressy, but it could depend on what it is worn with and accessories.

They certainly are cute, and I think if they are comfy and good quality, they are a good find for the season, as they will go great with everything.

I think they're very cute and modern. Dressy or casual really depends you and your own style - I can see them going either way - for me I'd consider them mildly dressy, sort of office-y.

First, I like the style. Looks modern to me. The toe box is neither round nor almond, I think... And if the style is dressy or casual depends on your wardrobe. For me it would be dressy, for sure
So, my vote would be yay, BUT only if they were real leather. And the description seems to say they're not? That would be a no-go for me, especially in your climate. Sorry

I like the simple style of these boots Neel and I do like the burgundy color very much. I think it would all come down to comfort.

I could try zara before I buy these. Their real leather boots are cute this season. But they don't seem to have burgundy in their stores. If I buy these, I could still buy another real leather pair with my budget this month. I have a budget for 2 pairs of boots now since the flats I bought today are going back. I think I should sleep over this and see how it goes. Or I should visit zara before I decide anything. Won't let anxiety get the better of me!

About a month ago I found a really nice pair of burgundy boots at Zara for about $130. The color was a bit darker than the one you're looking at, but gorgeous and real leather. They might still be there!
