Burberry on the Magnificent Mile...

I swear I get so inspired by you ladies and all the things that you wear and all the things that you post and questions and musings. I'm sorry I'm not able to comment on everything and but I. Lurk regularly!

Today for work I happen to be on the Magnificent Mile here in Chicago the Chi as I like to say. Passing the Burberry store I saw what caught my eye oh how to step into fall and winter. I know most people don't think about Chicago as a fashion capital of the world. but It just always strikes my fancy when I pass this store. So here's a little winter fall fashion for you all for your viewing pleasure.

I love these too. I'm not in love with Burberry's plaid, but I love the Stewart tartan maximalism outfit. I'd be interested in getting it if I didn't suspect it was out of my price range. Thanks for sharing.

I love this tartan so much. I also love their shop front design.

The lead designer, Christopher Bailey, has just left Burberry; I think it will be interesting to see how the brand evolves. Hopefully more stewart tartan!

I love the plaid. These photos remind me of my childhood. I grew up in central Illinois, and we’d go up to Chicago every Christmas to visit relatives and to see the Marshall Fields holiday window displays. There used to be queues on the sidewalk for window gawkers!
