Sigh. One of the downsides of being slow to warm up to new trends is that I wait too long and find everything sold out.

I finally tried on the Gap leans, but I really want the faded black wash in 2, and those are sold out online as well as in the stores I've checked so far. I haven't launched a full-out search yet, but I'm NOT optimistic. <facepalm>

Does this ever happen to you guys? How do you know when to pounce and when to mull things over?

I hear you Rae.. So many times I tried stuff at the store and went home to 'think it over'. Most times, I can't find those items anymore in my size (which is a popular one too, so it doesn't help!). I bet they'll restock any day for the holiday season so i would just keep checking the website, can you also maybe ask a store associate if they expect the item in stock soon?

That happens to me all the time! Here the most popular stores are zara, mango and items there just fly.. if I don't buy them right away the chances I never get to buy it are very high!

Isabella, it honestly never occurred to me that they might restock-- what a boon that would be! It makes total sense, though; it's a popular item, so they would be smart to keep it in the normal rotation. I will ask about restocking the next time I call a store.
