Made a big color change this weekend -- just in the mood to do something different (I liked my hair the way it was quite well but get bored easily) Wondering what you all think? Yes? No? Maybe? I'll certainly be blonde again...that's what feels most natural for me, but if you like the darker color I'll consider keeping it until spring or summer.

I think it's worth keeping for a change and I'm not one who's good with change. (I do love your blonde hair too just to be clear.) You look like a movie star.

Thanks, Nicole. I'm having a hard time getting my head around this. I WANTED a change, and I think I like it, but it's a shock every time I see myself. The biggest thing is that I identify a lot with being a blonde. This is an interesting experience, though. My clothes look different, my makeup looks different. Everything. Crazy, huh?

I really like--and dare I say prefer--it darker. It looks fantastic. You looked great as a blonde but something about the darker hair really clicks for me.

I LOVE it! I like you with blond hair as well but you look a little more mysterious and enchanting with this hair color. I'm sure it will take you time to get used to the look, but please keep it for a while!

What a great new look for you! Change is fun! I like both colors equally. Definitely keep it for Winter/Spring, and then if you want go back to blonde for Summer.

I think you look great but I have to say that I prefer the blond hair. The color was always so stunning with all the colors that you wear. Everything changes with a hair color change and it will be interesting to see how you mix it up with your wardrobe. I tend to like strong vibrant colors with darker hair. that might be just what you are planning to do! Change is great, you always look stunning!

Hi Kyle - I love it! I too just went from blonde to brunette (well, dark blonde at least). I can't believe how much fun it is to play with colors now. There are so many colors that I can wear now that overpowered me before. Have fun with it!

Kyle - gorgeous, gorgeous. I don't know that you can go wrong with anything you do, you have such impeccable style. I prefer you blonde but love that you made a big change. I'd say keep the brunette for a season or two just for fun and for a difference.

Love it! I really liked you as a blonde but think this is a great color as well. I find that when I change my hair color dramatically, it takes quite a while to not be surprised when I look in the mirror. And it does change the way I wear colors. I'm looking forward to photos of the outfits you come up with now that you are a brunette.

I think it will be fun for you to be a brunette through at least the winter. I understand how you feel because I do get bored with my hairstyle easily. I like this color on you very much, but the blonde is definitely more 'you'.

Angie: Not growing my hair, just changed the cut a bit, though I think I may prefer the previous, this is a great change.

Muequita: My husband and son like it a lot, though I think my husband prefers the blonde at least slightly.

Joy: A couple also mentioned looking younger. I think blondes need to be careful about that. If you go too ashy it ages you.

Tarzy: I always felt great in red -- held up a red blouse this morning and it really fell flat.

Angie, yes, I am naturally a dark blonde. Dishwater or mousy is how I would describe it. Everyone else in my immediate family is brunette -- even my husband and son!

There's something about a darker color and the cut itself and the contrast it creates that's very appealing and stylish and sophisticated.

I'm also a natural dark blonde. I don't have highlights right now, and I'm kind of enjoying seeing my natural color again Sometimes I think about getting a slightly deeper darker color just to see what it'll look like with my pale skin. But I also know that highlights really make my eyes pop. Heh, decisions, decisions.
