Brown vs beige - which color to choose (photos)

Hi!
I am still looking for the right colors for myself. Recently, I bought two turtlenecks in different colors, because I like them very much, but I wonder if they suit me (I can still return them to the store). I attach photos. Initially, I liked beige, but now I have doubts. In my other thread I posted my photos in the soft autumn palette and I'm not convinced by it.
I will be grateful for your help.

Gee. I like both. But the dark IS more vivid.

The darker brown suits you best but I can see the lighter one being a versatile piece and would go with many different coloured jackets and pants. I’d keep both!

on their own, i prefer the brown turtleneck, but if you are layering, i could see the beige being useful

I think it depends on what you are going for - the beige is a good base color and would be nice mixed with other colors, while the brown is good on its own. I think they both suit your coloring.

Bottom line, they both suit you well. Do you have a personal preference?
In these photos, the darker colour matches your hair and the background and the effect is face-framing while the top itself recedes. The lighter colour is of course closer to your skin colour which is also flattering! Style wise, I feel the beige is the slightly more interesting/current choice but the brown reads as a very natural, classic choice of dark neutral for you.

I prefer the dark brown turtleneck. Your skin tone and eye color seem to "pop" more in dark brown than beige.

Agreed that the dark brown sets off your coloring better, but you can wear either one, depending on what you want for your outfits. I know sometimes I want a lighter top under my collection of mostly dark jackets but often reach for dark tops too.

For colour flattery, I would rate the dark brown a ‘10’ and the beige ‘8’.

Dark brown is gorgeous.

But if you were wearing a burgundy or black blazer the camel might be the better choice. I see a place for potentially both if you really like the style and duplication works for you.

In isolation I think the dark brown, but in the context of the entire outfit things might look differently.

You can’t go wrong with either but I especially like the beige. It’s definitely more muted but shows off your beautiful complexion!

I am with Kellygirl, I like the beige best as it is a softer look. however, both are really lovely. I would assess which to keep (if you are choosing between the two) based on how they work with skirts, pants and toppers that you own.

Thank you all for your help, you are invaluable! I do not wear turtlenecks under the coat (jacket), so I chose dark brown, because in beige I felt a bit expressionless. I like this sweater, so I ordered more two, but in different colours - dark turquoise and light aqua.

I was worried that the photos have too warm shade, I improved them in the graphics program (I corrected white balance). Despite changing my skin tone to cooler, I like dark brown, although according to my palette it's not my color.
I also add two palettes (and soft autumn, I'm afraid to warm for me), between which in my opinion my type oscillates. Which one do you think is more suitable for me?

The system of seasons/colors could be a bit confusing on different sites. I'd check you collection of clothes and try to remember if any of colors made you feel happy/joyful or sad/indifferent. I believe that there are colors that we are just happy to wear ( aqua for me, teal - for you probably ). Find a few that you really like to see in your pictures - that should help to figure out the season for you.
On the other hand if you like certain color - you should wear it. What helped me was having multicolored accessories - like scarfs, earrings to bring certain "not my season" colors into the mix ( do you favor any jewelry by any chance?..).

I liked the dark brown better- eyes look brighter, great with hair and am happy you chose that one. I think pic 3 just beats pic 4 but only just. Pic 5 I think is too warm for you.

I tend towards palette in pic 4 - I agree the last is too warm. But 3 also works to my eye.

I see that brown sweater as a cool chocolate brown. It really suits you.

I like pallet #3 as those colors really. Ring out the blue of your eyes. Have you tried navy blue?
