I tried to style my mélange brown cloth dress, don’t want to be brown and black but something different, with some color. This is my attempt.
Mélange brown cloth dress
Rust (may be orange, but I think rust) cardigan
Sparkle thin brown belt
Cognac boots
Nude Hose
Wood necklace
Blue navy bag as an accent
What do you think is it too colorfully?

The blue bag kicks it ALL up a notch. Great proportions and fun colour mix. Nicely done.

I love your color combination here. Not too much at all, very grounded.
Brown + rust + blue is a fab grouping.
Something like a scarf that has a lot of blue but repeats the rust or brown would also be great.
Yes, that is 3 colors and very conservative advice is to watch out but I think it adds wonderful interest and richness.

Thanks so much Angie, your opinion is extremely important for me. I used to wear neutrals and some color as an accent , always afraidnot to be much colorful and funny.

I like it too! In fact, H&M has a navy/rust-ish/mustard grouping in stores right now which caught my eye. Really interesting and different .

Thanks Rachylou, Lisap , yes H&M had it in our store already gone, now is forest green and burgundy....Unfrumped, good idea with scarf, I will try it, have one with blue and brown and will see....

This look is great Mirjana! I love the rich cognac jacket and the blue bag together. Such a lovely combo and I agree with Angie...these are lovely proportions too.

I tried as Unfrumped said with a blue scarf , I have this one tube blue. What do you think?

I like you styling and given most of it is neutral do not think it is too much colour mixing. I also like you update, the blue scarf looks great. I hope you feel fab wearing this outfit.
