Hi,

Has anyone looked at Brooks Brothers lately? I think they are "upping" their style game.

This cape is really cute.

They carry Levi's jeans now.

This denim dress is also cute.

And I really adore the print on this blouse.

Me! I love their Black Fleece line especially, but always seem to fall in love with the most expensive things, so I've yet to buy. lol

Rae, keep an eye on their sale page. When they discount, they discount deeply.

I'm loving how they appear to have styled that denim dress with my Frye Melissa lace-up boots! So cute.

It appears they are sort of modeling the LL Bean (Signature) and Lands End (Canvas) concept (not to mention Ralph etc..) There are some cute things in their "Young Traditionalists" but the dresses seem a bit short. Maybe because I'm not young?

I was at Brooks Brothers for the first time when visiting NYC a couple of months ago (a friend got a nice preppy dress there and I wanted to take a look). The dresses I looked at were way too preppy for me - and I got stuck in one of them, paniced and fortunately manage to wriggle myself out of it. Then I ran to the hotel to get the bus to the airport.

Anyway - that denim dress looks really good! And the blouse is nice too, but would love the print in a fresher colour

Rae-That dress is lovely! Their black fleece line looks pricey but like the garments are well made, although I don't know this for sure.

April-Yes, that's one of the first things I noticed, the prints have toned down and the colors are brighter and more varied.

BB is not my usual thing, but I love my non-iron shirts from them. I wish, wish, wish they would make them in some non-pastel colors -- burgundy, cobalt, emerald? Pretty please?

I had not seen their catalog or lookbook. WOW. I LOVE the dress and the shamrock shirt.
They also have ponte knit pants.

Yes, Janet, I totally agree! I have the magenta non-iron shirt, and it is pretty bright, but lately most colors are pastels. I would love to see some saturated colors.

Ahhhhhh, this stuff is like crack to me! Must stay away! Actually, I loved looking through their Young Traditionalist line. The pieces and stylings provided some great inspiration, thank you Lisa. Too bad I can't wear the heels with the stripe up the back, lol!

Clearlyclaire-I also find the outfit styling inspirational. Sometimes I look at certain retailer websites just for remixing ideas.

Angie-So true! I found my summer loungewear this year at Old Navy, a store I never go into. They were the only place that had the terrycloth shorts I like for summer lounging.

Esme noir-I run a size 4 in their blazers. I'm a 32C chest and usually a size S in most stores.

Kyle-I was surprised too!

Shabbychick-I agree, and I am always pleased with their quality.
