My lusted-after for 3 months (and 7 months of wondering) bronze Beltrami boots have arrived. They are not quite the bright bronze I hoped, the colour of the thread in my favourite Sabatini jersey ( pic 1). They are however exactly the same last/shape/size as 2018's favourite flat black Maria Rossi boots which I bought on 1 April and wore 88 times. The zips are odd though, they go the opposite way and are on both sides of the boots not just the inner side. Neil says they look more correct intuitively in the black boot. See pics 2-6 comparing the boots.
They are still beautiful, I think will be as comfy as the black even if the zip placement is slightly odd. The black are looking a bit worn on the toes after 88 wears though I have not yet polished them ( lazy, you see). The black cost $110 and I got the bronze on extra sale for $97. ( Originally $242). Both Italian made.
Pics 7-11 are some outfit try-ons with my fave pewter winter pants plus tops- the orange top is new and needs the sleeves turned up, I just tucked them under for pic. Thoughts on colour of boots?
