I didn't buy any clothing wildcards this year yet, but more than a few last year.
Normally in summer I like either nude sandals, especially with texture and or shine, or if black or higher contrast-quite bare/low vamp. My feet are much narrower at heel than in front-so it seems more balanced!
The orange ones were a wildcard last fall, and I thought they'd get tons of wear-since they go with most of my wardrobe and they're comfy. But they're very maximal on my feet. I like them most with my red skirt, since it's kinda a column of color, and the new tie dye dress should work same. They're less maximal with pants-but I only wear skirts May-October (pants are too hot-and I hate wearing them).
But-I'm debating whether to take them to the leatherworker to cut back or add some sort of texture or perforations to soften the look a bit. The catch is, he's very busy, so it may be months to get back....
Wwyd? Do you wear bright sandals?
