Bra fitting- Canada?

I remember seeing a forum about this previously, but I can't seem to find it now.

I'm in Canada and a girlfriend and I would really like to find somewhere to go for a bra fitting... any suggestions? We're in Ontario and would prefer something in Toronto or KW area.

Hi, Crystal - Pretty much any specialty lingerie store will be able to do a fitting. But they're not all created equal, I suspect. I hope someone from Toronto will chime in. I live in Kingston and I just went to the fancy lingerie shop here.

Any "better" large department store would probably be a good bet, too. If you go during the week, you're more likely to get a seasoned, full-time fitter.

When I did this for the first time (since my Mom took me as a teenager), the lady took one look at me, left and was back in a flash with ONE bra. If fit me perfectly.

I'm from Toronto! My sewing instructor highly recommended this place in the Danforth. Argh - I wish I can remember the name. I will ask again when I see her this Saturday.

I've been going to Secrets from your Sisters (they have a branch at Bathurst/Bloor and Yonge/Eglinton). They are great, but I found their bras a bit too pricey.

Crystal: Stop looking right now and head directly to melmira Bras and Swimsuits. They're on Yonge a few blocks north of Lawrence, so not too far off the highway for when you come. Their fitters have been EXCELLENT in my long experience with the store. They are not cheap at all, but good bras never are and honestly the money is worth it for a product that fits properly and lasts with proper maintenance.
I have the incredible good fortune to live near a block that has not one but two specialty lingirie stores within feet of each other, and they're both good. One is Secrets from your Sister, mentioned before, and the other is Tres Jolie just about half a block further south (also on Yonge).

This place is a game changer. I went in there and they do a consult type thing and measure you up and they go off to get you what works best for you. I went in and wanted a skintone plain bra for smooth white tops and what I got was my best boobies ever! I think I got 4 or 5 bras that day. I also had them help me get a strapless and some that I just liked because they were pretty. Not cheap but what good bra/new boobies are...

Ps they do bathing suits too! I went in there with a friend when she needed one. Those ladies are serious professionals.
