As I am preparing for going back to office in 10 days, I ordered this BR linen double breasted blazer. It just arrived this morning, wrinkled and crumpled. But does it have a potential? How does it fit, have I got the correct size?
Bonus question about my hair. What to do with it? To get rid off of all the red it will require a big chop. I can also keep it up so it will not be that obvious.

I think the size is great. I have a similar fabric and style (not color!) that I got at Nordstrom last year that I really love for late summer workwear. (In storage now, alas!) This looks great on you.

Not sure what to advise about your hair. I'm growing mine out at the moment: in these times, visiting the salon is really low on my list of needs.

Greatfit on the blazer, love the sorbet color and that is linen!
Nothing wrong with hair growing out color BUT I vote for a big chop! Just for fun, and for changing things up for a new fresh style (perhaps will still let some color on the very ends by the first chop for extra fun!)

I think you could easily wear a short haircut, Carey Mulinghan is really good with short and quirky haircuts, I have attached a picutre as I think you could reallly pull it off!

I almost purchased the same blazer. Love the yummy color and it fits you so well. As far as the hair, I vote for a big chop but keep some of the red color on the ends. Short hair doesn't require a lot of daily maintenance, but you do have to have pretty regular trims, every six weeks or so, in order to maintain the shape.

The blazer is perfect and so is your hair. I think you can’t lose with a hair cut—smaller margin of red or shorter cut would both work well.

And regarding the hair, big chop is in the lead. Last time I had it short was in 2013, see photo. Can’t belive that it is already 7 years since I went grey. I did it before it was popular

Love the blazer on you - fab!
I'm in minority - I like longer hair ( with a bit of a trim ) with colored ends.
I think the colored ends should stay - shows personality and adds some fun color to the outfits. Unless of course it's strictly forbidden at your work place - then shorter haircut it is.

slim cat - we don’t have a dress code at work but everyone dresses pretty conservative, so prefer not to stand out too much. I already do with my colorful outfits in the sea of black, navy and gray suits.

Then maybe short bob haircut - it will take off almost all colored bits.
Your hairdresser will probably suggest something nice and easy to maintain. Hope you will post some pics later .

Angie - I do feel like a chop, but one thing that is stopping me is that I am not sure how the situation with pandemic will evolve, and if it will be possible to have regular haircuts. Now is maybe not the best time for having the short hair. Bob style can go so much longer between cuts.

Runcarla - you are the best! Yes, that can be solution. Most of the red if not all will be gone with that cut. And can probably go longer between cuts if needed.

First off, the blazer looks like a fantastic fit and color. I like the idea of a bob, or layered bob as Carla posted above. You can totally pull off short hair, but it does need frequent upkeep.

And I say to rock those red ends until the very end with regular trims - no big chop. I really like the look of "dipped" ends", and they actually look intentional to me. A bigger chop would be eliminate them, but I really like the length of your hair in these pictures. It will be beautiful regardless of what you do, and your natural color is wonderful.

The blazer looks wonderful on you! The color is a bit unusual and delicious for summer. I can’t add anything to the excellent advice you’ve received about your hair. Good luck with the transition back to the office. I’ve been back for about a month and have to say it’s been very good to be among people in real life, rather than on a screen. Everyone in my very small workplace is taking many safety measures, so it feels safe.

Windchime - glad to hear that you feel safe in office. I am little anxious, I work in huge office building with 5000 people, I have to use elevators, air is circulating through central air conditioning and no possibility to open windows. There were already dozen cases reported. I do have my own office, meetings are still online, and masks are mandatory outside office so I hope it is safe enough.

Oh, Anchie, we’re at opposite ends of the office staff spectrum! I’d sure be anxious in your situation, too. Where I work, there are six of us staff when everyone is there. Usually there are only 3 or maybe 4 of us there at a time, and everyone is being so thoughtfully conscientious about social distancing measures, mask wearing, etc.

Do you think they might reverse the back to the office order, given the dozen reported cases? Take very good care of yourself; I’ll send positive, healthy thoughts in your direction.

We started gradual return on 1 of July and I was lucky to be in the last batch to return, but now it will be full house. There is a plan to test all 5 000 of us by the end of August, not looking forward to that. And my DD school is starting on 31. August most likely in person adding to my anxiousness.
