Well I headed back to BR to return the 27s and to try the 25s on one more time. I think the SAs must shake their heads when they see me coming. The 25s just feel too tight for my liking in the waist band. So I think I'm sticking with the 26s...but you may notice I haven't cut the tags yet
To Carole's point - yes you can see the pocket lining on the front of the pants. I found this more noticeable on the 25s when the pants were tighter. If you look hard you might see it in pic #1, but it's certainly not bothersome to my eyes.
I took pics 1 and 2 last night, and the rest tonight after wearing the pants all evening. They have loosened to some degree, but this suits me as I would prefer them a little looser in the summertime anyway. Bonus shot (5-8) of my lovely floral trousers from Joe Fresh.

ETA back view for Sveta. Please no comments on pant length - not hemmed yet, but I am ok with view from behind - even though I am on team front view.
