BR Sloan Ankle Pant; Length ok?

These are the popular BR Sloan Ankle Pant in windowpane check, that I saw on Maryk and flipped for. I could only get ahold of two possible sizes, neither of which is 100 percent. This one on me is the petite size 0, (I am small but never wear petites) which to me feels a little short in the length and also a tad shorter in the rise, causing muffin spillover. The other choice was a regular size 2 and was kind of sloppy.

I WANT THESE PANTS!!! If I had to keep this pair, would you say the length is okay? It seems fine with this particular shoe, but with other shoes I can't say. I have searched on EBAY and so far they have not come up in a regular size 0 or 00.

The petites look perfect at this length. Much better than the regulars would to my eye.

Well, there you have it. I was going to pop in to say I like them (but I have a super sweet eye for slim crops) and hope the bump would garner you more comments, but Angie beat me to it!

Thanks Angie and K, I may just have to keep these petites and deal with the petite rise issue by wearing tops OUT as I did here. It's so frustrating when you are late on the train for a perfect "you" item and then you get shut out of a shot at your real size. That's what I get for ignoring BR for awhile...

Did they do a search for you at other stores? I know that mine had a lot of these the last time I was there just a week ago.

I think the length is good, but I would not be happy with a too short rise. That would be a deal breaker for me.

The length looks great to me, and I see no muffin top!

The length looks correct for an ankle pant to my eye. Not sure I would trust my eyes on this though!

BR did do a nationwide search for me....No regular small sizes left.

THe muffin top would show with a shirt tucked, I'm afraid. It's just a ridge of skin, it's never going back to pre-baby status.

These look great! My legs always look stumpy in cropped pants, but I don't see any of that leg-shortening effect on you. Love this whole outfit.

There are regular size 0's available on the Canadian site. 40% off today, too. If you can't order through them yourself, I can get some for you. I'll be up until about 1030 eastern. LMK!

Oh wow! You guys are great. I just ordered two more sizes on the website that were not available two days ago! Thank you! If I hadn't checked here first I surely would have given up.

Hopefully I won't get an email saying, "Sorry but due to high demand those sizes are out again." I have paid for one day shipping twice now.

So now will try a 0 regular and the 2 petite. Cross your fingers and I promise to do a follow up picture if they work out.

Foiled again! Banana Republic lets the order go through, then sends an email the next day saying sorry we are out of your sizes! Why do they even let you get that far only to quash your hopes??

Ok, I have leapt in to try these. They have only been available in petites on the Canadian site, but I saw that regular sizes were back so just to get this out of my head I am going to try them!

They are just such awesome pants. But it's not ankle pant season here anymore and I don't personally love patterned pants with tall boots.

Ceit from what I know of your style, these would be great for you. Let me know if you can get them from your canadian site because the US site let me order them, and then the next day they said they were sold out!

I think the length is perfect, and I love the contrasting color of the ankle strap pumps!
