Hi all! I was busy this week and couldn’t comment on all the wonderful challenge posts as much as I wanted to. I enjoyed seeing all of the ones I didn’t get a chance to comment on.

I ordered some J Crew jeans that I love and wanted to share. That continues to be my go-to place for updating my jeans capsule to current silhouettes. These straight leg jeans are comfortable, though the waist is a bit high for me. My husband saw me try them on and was immediately smitten - I think he now sees the possibilities of higher waist jeans on women. Or on me, anyway.

I’d like them to be the same length as the stock photo, so they are going to the tailor for a good 2-inch chop. The current length is very awkward.

I had some time to shop yesterday during work lunch. This BR dress was a pleasant surprise and came home with me. This colorway doesn’t exist online right now - the photo in the custom find is from last year’s version. I need to try it without tights to shape me, but I do love this. I have another dress from BR in similar stripes, though a different shape. I may need to talk myself into thinking they are different enough. (You can see that I also own a similar BR top - I am embracing my nautical stripes again after moving away from them a little, I guess!)

Finally, I don’t know if the Angie BR knit tees are what she loved last year-I can’t compare, but I have it in red and black and will probably go for navy. Great staple item. BR’s ribbed items are killing it, for me anyway. They skim without clinging, and look divine

ETA - got the hemmed jeans back. Definitely the right call!
