BR resin kick crop v. Gap kick crop

Well, I made it home before dark so I threw on the kick crops and snapped a few pics. I'm not really sure at all about these. I like the idea of them and love them on everyone else. Would love your opinion on length. The black are the Gap and the blue are the BR.
ETA: gap is regular size petite. BR is size down short length.

Thanks, Aida and Tanya! I'm so glad I asked. I thought the black ones were good--thought the blue ones should go back. Perhaps I need to do the opposite of what I think--at least when it comes to fashion!

Crops look really great on you but I'm loving those shoes! Are those OTBT or Kork Ease ? I've been looking at shoes until I'm cross eyed!

Both look terrific. I agree the black could be an inch shorter but they look great.

Thank you, Angie, Muffin, Suz and Shevia! It's funny because I just compared the two crops flat and the black ones are a good 1" shorter than the blue. Maybe it's the camera angle playing tricks!

My review: The BR are very comfortable. The Gaps are nice too but much looser in the waist and slightly lower rise. They would need a belt. Might end up returning those.

Kelly that sounds like it's definitely something with the camera angle! If the black is shorter than the blue then they're both fine

Soo...my first gut reaction was for the black. They seem narrower on the upper leg, which is a thing for me. I like a narrow knee so the flare, well, flares. But the more I stare, the more they seem equal...

I am glad you posted as I will need to deal with the same issue soon. They both look great to me (length too). I am surprised to read that the Gap is lower in rise. So maybe only their white crops are high-rise? Will need to find out as I am ready for some muffin-top disguising higher waists, haha. Love the sandals too (Tsubo is now out of business, I believe to have read some time back).

These look to be the same length or very close to my eye. I do think it's the camera angle that is playing tricks with the black. They both look great on you but I prefer the slimmer fit of the black. However, if they don't fit in the rise or waist, move on and keep the BR.

That said, if you're not comfortable with the trend, I would opt for something else.

My eyes haven't adjusted to this trend yet but I think I would opt for the blue between the two.

Both look great, but I have a slight preference for the black. You make them look so good that I'm bummed I don't see them on the Gap website. Are they demi-panel or regular jeans?

@AJ: Thank you. That’s our new artificial turf. I love it. Talk about drought tolerant
@rachylou: The Gap are snugger in the thigh but the fabrication is pretty stretchy and not as thick as the BRs.
@chouette: I’m looking forward to seeing your crops. The Gap are looser in the waist--so they may be more forgiving and less girdling I haven’t tried the white so I’m not sure if they are the same animal. I can’t even find the black on the website anymore. So weird.
@carambola: These were in the kick crop section of the website. They don’t really feel like denim--more like a thick cotton. I looked for them last night but couldn’t find them. Items disappear and reappear at time so maybe they will show back up soon.

Really?! I've been considering artificial turf myself. Does it feel real? What about when Oreo has to go? Inquiry minds want to know.

Both look great to me. I do like the sleek look of the black ones on you, but if they don't fit that well, I'd pass on those.

@aj: it's great. It doesn't feel real by any stretch of the imagination. It is pet
friendly though. Looks perfect so lacks that real grass look but it is allergy proof. So far, we like it better than the real thing. Oreo likes it too!
