The quandary is at the end -

I hit BR today to return some items I had ordered online that just didn't work. I am confused lately by their sizing. I've definitely gained weight so it seems their sizing has changed, and is also inconsistent!

The only thing I kept from my online order was this duster cardigan in light grey:

Totally cute and I think this will get lots of mileage in my wardrobe, both for work and for casual.

While in the store returning, I couldn't resist this moto jacket --

Does not come in blush in petites, unfortunately, but that's okay. I am totally fine with adding this item in black! I will get plenty of mileage out of this one, both for work and casual. Two thumbs up!!!

I also snapped up this long double-breasted vest in black -- which totally transported me back to high school -

... then came home to realize that I could have ordered blush in petite online. Hence the quandary: keep the black, or order the blush? (I did not try on the blush moto in the store so I have no idea if it's a good shade for me or not).

Final notes:

  • BR struck me as if the 70s made love to the 80s and produced a 2015 love child!!!
  • I'm kind of liking it... it feels familiar... but ... I'm confuzzled. I'm sure I'll get my bearings eventually!
  • If you are into fringe, try their fringe leather jacket. I don't see it online yet. It was in regular only but fit me okay (sleeves a tad long but otherwise fine). I just am not a fringe gal. But if you are... it was pretty awesome.
  • The animal print cocoon coat was also pretty sweet, though not petite sized. I wanted to Rawr in it. Also too much print for me. But if it's your thing... it reminded me of high school.
