BR not registering 40% off code?

Trying some sale items and site does not seem to apply the additional 40% off using the advertised "code"--items did not seem to be the excluded ones and recently in-store it was applying. Any body else browsing there today? I don't think they have on-line chat so may have to call later, just in case.

The same thing happened to me this morning but I find this is often the case with BR promotion codes. There seem to be so many inexplicable exclusions on their website these days I rarely shop there anymore. Too annoying!

I'd call them and see. I am not certain their website always updates right, which is odd, given how often they do these codes.

I happened to notice the other day when browsing the sale selection: I clicked on a dress and it was a "petite", changed to "regular" tab and back to regular price as well, so did not discount in bag bc the discount is only for sale items. I was a little bit irked by this, but they just ended up losing my order. Double check that and then I would call. I bet they would do a price adjustment...

Call them - who knows, you may get a discount even if it is exluded :-0

Call them and see. They seem to always have weird issues with their codes.

Another thing that has worked for me at BR is to go to the store and have the SAs order it from their computer using the in-store code, which seems to often have less exclusions. This does require you go to the store though (although maybe you could call the store and ask them to do it over the phone) and you might have to have it shipped to the store.

I was having that problem too, but I didn't read the fine print. I found out it's only items that end in $.97 or $.99. Not all items on sale.

I don't know if that is what happened to you or not.

I often have trouble with the promo codes too - I usually call and sometimes I get the discount, sometimes not. I've also found that I can call a store (about an hour away) and order over the phone and sometimes get a better price than online. They ship it to me either way.

Well, mtgirl was right. The items that appeared to be "on sale" are instead "promotional" and prices will go back up. So the extra 40% off does not apply. Tricky, but good to know, if one were stalking a certain item, it might not stay at that price.

Tricky indeed! They actually drive me crazy with their pricing, but I haven't found another retailer that fits me quite as good so I keep going back for more clothes.
