BR non-iron fitted white button down - sizing help

I recieved this shirt in the mail today. I am not sure about the size, though. http://bananarepublic.gapcanad.....cale=en_CA
What do you guys think? I almost want to size up one but the shoulders fit well in this and I am afraid a size up will be too big in shoulders.

How does it work with the bottom button undone, Mona? I think sometimes Angie suggests that solution to pretty pears.

Another option: compare the Tailored version in the same size. That one fits a bit different, I believe.

Would you wear it mostly untucked? If you are going to wear it tucked or layered, then it's not a problem. If you are going to wear it untucked, could you give it a quick iron (I know--no iron, right?!?) and see if that relaxes the fabric enough to bring it together a little? I think that the creases in it from packing and shipping are throwing it off.

Oh, and let's see it with your tank untucked to continue the white line underneath. I bet that solves it.

Even though it's non-iron, I think it could use a quick steam to help you decide. Since it has stretch, this could work if you want a traditional, well-fitting shirt. The petite sizing looks great on you!

Suz, that is a good suggestion. I will order it in tailored version too.
k can shop, I will iron it to see if that makes fit a little bit better. I am hoping to wear this mostly tucked and layered.

Mona, if you are going to wear it mostly tucked and layered, then I think it is perfect. I buy my shirts in two sizes. A larger size that fits without tightness for shirts that I wear untucked and unlayered, and a smaller size that is a little snug for shirts that I wear tucked and layered. It almost needs to be too small for me to fit nicely and flat under a layer like a v-neck sweater. (I buy my cheap layering button downs at H&M for that reason.)

Mona, they seem to last for a couple of years, but I don't wear them intensely. At $20 a pop, though, they are pretty easy to justify on a cost per wear basis!

Definitely try the tailored for comparison, but I found it pretty fitted too - and with perhaps a little less stretch, didn't fit quite as well in some areas (on me).
Interesting point about smaller fit for layering, k. I've rejected the two BR fits AND H&M because they were just a smidge too small on their own, even though I really want it for layering.

I vote size up in this fit. It's too snug everywhere - under the arm and on the bust too - as well as on the midriff and hips. It has potential though. I think it will work!

I vote with Angie. No, seriously, I feel like you look a little uncomfy in this size, and I'm not sure if it's the fit or the photo. But I like a little room to move in anything stiff (or at least, what I think of as stiff).
