BR crop issue

I finally figured out what is up with my BR resin wash crops... One leg is 1/2 inch longer than the other (got the measuring tape out to check). It doesn't sound like a lot but it drives me to distraction. Anyone else with this issue?Though I would check before I call customer service... They are the "short" length.

I don't own the BR crops, but that would drive anyone to distraction! They should take them back and refund your purchase price.

That would drive anyone crazy. See what customer service can do - an exchange? alteration? refund? I've had trouble with BR/Gap quality before but they are usually good about making it right.

Hah, it might actually work on me, depending on the leg -- one of my legs is 1/2" longer than the other! I never thought about how it affects how my crops look. Oh well.

Definitely exchange them. Shouldn't be a problem. I actually did buy a pair of jeans once that had this same problem, and it didn't work in my favor. Someone fell asleep on the measuring assembly line.

I would ask for an exchange.

I just had mine on about an hour ago to assess the length. I didn't notice anything wonky with them....will have to check that out. I DID measure the width across the hem though and discovered I can shorten them by an inch and not loose any flare. So I will trim, stitch and re-do the fraying. This will put them in Angie's 2 to 4" above ankle bone range.

Wow! Half and inch is significant. I hope BR is able to fix the problem for you with a replacement.

I would love to exchange them, but I know BR is sold out of the short lengths. I wonder how manual the fraying work is.

Windchime, Elle, Sterling, Isabel, and Banoffi: I needed to hear that the 1/2 inch seems like a lot to you too. I am glad to hear that BR should work with me on this.

Janet: I definitely had a moment of wondering if my legs were different lengths that I had never noticed until I tried crops -- my mom had about 3/4 inch of difference between her right and left and I know it's not unusual.

Maryilyn: I am VERY interested to hear how your shortening project works out. I will likely end up shortening these a bit more to even them out (yikes, as they seem pretty darn short already) or shortening a regular size way up.

That would drive me crazy for sure and I would try to exchange them. I also have one leg longer than the other and that drives me crazy as well so I am always measuring my pants to make sure they are the same length.

I did have a problem with the BR crops I ordered online, the hem was sewn wrong on one leg. I brought them to the store for an exchange and they were on a huge discount so the QC problem worked out in my favor.
