I might be a little ahead of the weather, but I was determined to find a spring trench coat this year. For years I've avoided them. Khaki wasn't my best color and they always felt stiff and cumbersome. But…...I did some YLF archive diving and found lots of lovely photos of Angie in her cream trench. Inspiration!

This BR cream trench (2014 version) looks like a winner. I know some of you bought a version of this trench last year (merwoman has one, I think) and loved it. Well, it looks like this year's is a winner, too. The color is bright with a slight sheen, and the fabrication feels softer and less stiff than a lot of trenches. It's not too long either, so it doesn't swamp me in fabric. Here's a link:

Put me on Team Cream! As I reorder my wardrobe to find bright and clear colors, it's looking like cream/eggshell is going to be a workhorse. Angie is right: wearing this bright neutral in winter is a real pick me up.
