Ok the smaller ones look great, these are definitely "cute butt jeans"!

I would be the odd one out! I like the slouchy fit more! But I seem to have developed sugar eye for slouchy anything of late. The skinny fit looks good too and its all about how you like it IMO.

Tee hee....you just need Angie and me to help me with your shopping, Sveta!

Who would ever have thought that I could be boasting about the wonders of shopping with ME? YLF really is a magical place...

I am glad you will keep the slimmer ones. I think you are right that these give you greater variety. And you can absolutely tuck into those. And semi-tuck.

When I began wearing my white skinnies I felt very very self-conscious for the first few wears out of the house. I thought my thighs looked like beached whales and everybody must be staring at them in dismay. But now it is perfectly normal for me. As far as I know, Mona and I are the only two women in Kingston who are wearing white jeans, but nobody is looking at me strangely and I feel good in them. Cream jeans are easy in comparison!

I am very pleased you have found these Sveta!
(I have developed white jeans love lately too- whilst our Summer weather hasn't arrived yet, I still feel more Summery wearing them.)
Off-white like this will be ab-fab for Winter too- LOVE them

Sveta the smaller size looks terrific on you!!! I also ordered these pants on Tuesday but I am still awaiting their delivery - and I am in Waterloo.

I'm so glad you love your jeans and I totally agree that the smaller size is the way to go. I can't wait until I get mine! I ordered on Tuesday but it will be awhile before I get them. Looks like Monday at the earliest according to package tracking. So in the meantime I'll just enjoy everyone else's purchase. Have fun styling these and post more pics!

I'm glad you're sorted!

I'm in the minority here - but, I like the bigger size best. Perhaps I have a poison eye for tight white jeans? - or perhaps I just have an aesthetic preference for a slouchier skinny jean? Who knows? I guess I'm going to have to re-examine my "white jeans psychic!"

Marley, you are super into the slouchy look. And some (like Zap) are super into the sleek tight skinny look. Me, I put myself somewhere in between -- I can appreciate both looks, depending! I like to own some of each type. I do think some pants can be more or less successfully "sized up" in -- and others, mysteriously, cannot. It must depend to some extent on body type, fabrication, and the cut of the pants themselves. I have some that I have sized up in and love...and others that I tried to size up in, and they just looked dumb. Too loose overall...like I was wearing too big britches and no style or intentionality to it.

Now in this case I do think either size looks good on Sveta, but since they are supposed to be a skinny, I like the sleeker look of the smaller ones. But she does look goo either way! Lucky her.

The length is good, Sveta. Not too short.

Zap, I hope they restock in a Tall.

Yep, your right Suz! Many different "fits" work! I am mystified by this particular jean. I remember Angie saying that they did not really fit like skinnies on her - but rather like straight legs. And, I know that no matter what size I put on (and I tried 3 different sizes) that the legs were still too big for me to call them a skinny - and so . . . what? I don't know what I'm saying!

Yay! Sometimes a post is like reading a novel that you know the ending of, but are in love with the story for, so no surprises and only joy. I went through the pictures first and knew without a doubt that the smaller size was going to win. You look phenomenal in them, Sveta. Lovely! I can't wait to see you wearing them in coming WIWs!

Oooh, I love what K.Period said.

Marley...this is it. You must have very slim hips and legs. Angie, too! So what is a "skinny" on me or Sveta is more like a straight leg on Angie (probably Claire, too) and maybe a straight or just baggy on you.

And might be a calf-sucking legging jean on someone else. Remember how Angie said some people's skinnies are other people's straights? It's really true.

I just love when you start a post and it begins to live a life of its own ( or a novel according to K )
Angie, it is a relief to have your approval!
Marley, usually I cannot fit into skinny jeans at all because they just too skinny for my big calves. These ones must be relaxed in a calf fit becasue they are skinny but not calf-sucking skinny (love that description!) on me.
You are a Queen of the Baggy and Slouch! I like it too but find that I also like the departure into an opposite domain from time to time, especially in this cream color as I already have slouchy and baggy cream trousers.
I wore them around the house for a couple of hours (mostly sitting) and they eased quite a lot. It means that size up would be huge, more like BF jeans. Anyway I am keeping the smaller size and if I don't cut tags just yet it is because I hope that maybe Tall come back in stock and I can snatch them? I would not mind them to be 1" longer but I quite like them as they are so if Tall did not materialize it won't be a heart break for me.
Angela and Dianne, I hope they work for you too.

Thank you everybody who chimed in, I really value your opinions and help.

I think I've got it! Yeah! - and sorry for hijacking your thread Sveta - but, this is important stuff

Of course it is! (and highjack away, dear Marley )
