BR citron coat: sizing?!

I'm anywhere from a XS to a regular 6 and sometimes petite at BR. I'm leaning toward a medium petite but don't have a clue about the shoulders. What a kind offer! Shoulders and bust are my main concern - but that may require a tryon as coats can be deceiving.

Am at BR right now. Fits tts. It's slighty a-line. Not man coatish. Not scratchy. I didn't like the fit on me. The collar is too narrow. But could be better on you. Order MP.

Angie, thank you! I had a feeling you would scope this out. A-line and narrow collar are good for me. I can pull off a little oversized too and will need room for layers. Are the black buttons good 80s style? And is it a good citron (I'm not looking for chartreuse)?

It's not a chartreuse. More of a lime citron - and not quite the colour in the photo. Lighter.

I saw all the new BR wool coats this season - just unpacked. The quality is not as crisp, millitary and impeccable as the J.Crew wool coat. That would bother me, but I doubt it will bother you, Una. It's definitely worth ordering.

I bought it in a PM . The regular medium was simply too big, too long in the body and sleeves, and the pocket placement was right out of whack on me. The Petite size made a huge , huge difference in fit, and was smaller all over. The colour is wonderful too. I will say that it's not worth paying full price for. At $450 or whatever it was here, the wool blend is not that great a quality that it would justify that price. But at half price, it's going to be a fun extra coat for both fall and spring for me. Photos to follow in a few minutes !

In store deal - all outerwear 1/2 price. It's a bit dodgy at full price - seriously. It's nice, but not THAT nice, if you know what I mean (quality wise). Mind you, our regular price is a h$** of a lot higher than yours.

Wow, you guys are so fast! I just got back from a long trip. I could still go by and measure the shoulders though, tomorrow. I have issues with shoulders too, and end up having to buy a size up for them. That's why I wear knits a lot. That coat color is fab!
