BR beetle earring warning

I wore my beetle earrings today for the first time - they are the usual post with backing situation. Well, one has fallen off already! The backings felt a bit loose but I figured they would hold. I AM SO SAD. Just be aware if you have ordered them.

When the backing fell off, did you lose the earring? If not, I would definitely take them back. Hopefully you just got a bad pair and they're not all made like that.

Yes, the earring fell out! I thought it felt a little loose but didn't think it would slide right off.

Oh no - did you lose it? I'm obsessive about checking my earrings. I've had two earrings come out in our ballroom dance classes. One was lost, and the other I heard it shoot across the floor and I was able to retrieve it.

Yep, it's gone. I worry about it with dangly earrings but have never had a stud come out this way before. It looks so much like a bug that who knows what someone might think if they see it - stomp on it?

That stinks! Maybe BR would replace them because they are obviously defective.

aw bummer, no luck retracing your steps at home? I've mostly lost earrings when putting on or taking off some kind of clothing, like a coat or cross-body, and that happens mostly at home.

I'd still try taking it back, with one earring and an explanation. If they say "too bad", you're no worse off, and they might just replace them for you.
