BR - Sloan Pencil Skirt

Does anyone have any experiences with this pencil skirt.

Patterned skirts or plain black seem to prevail this summer in NZ and I am looking for solid blocks.

Reviews seem mixed on the web.

I've tried it on but didn't buy. It looks like summer fabric to me but is actually quite heavy, which is bad for my climate (might be OK in a NZ summer, where I live it's over 30 for months). The colors are great. It sits really low, which I don't like in a pencil skirt.

I have two of them - I find they run about a size too big - so I downsized one size - they are comfy versatile and fit my bigger than average waist with no alterations required!! - it is a thicker fabric with nice stretch - but I still wear it for fall - a little too thick for high summer wear. I have the red and the navy

Thanks. Thicker fabric is actually a big concern for me as I live in a really windy city and anything too floaty is problematic.

Sitting low on the waist might be an issue though. Will have to think further.

I have this skirt in black, and I really like it. The fabric is more on the stiff side, definitely not floaty. It does sit lower on the waist, but I wouldn't classify it as low-rise. I was able to get away with my usual size (00P) in this skirt, though the waist was a little bit big. It has spandex in it, so I think it is supposed to fit a little tighter than mine does; sizing down one size might be OK. I didn't have that option since I was already at the smallest size.

I LOVE how it is machine washable. I think it's a great value.
