Another vote for the khaki trench and the grey sweater, although I think the second choice colors are pretty nice too.

Coming back to say that I got the Ralph Lauren coat today, and it's not going to work for me...a little tight through the shoulders and kind of scratchy...but the herringbone tweed is amazing, and I'm happy I got to look at it.

Also a little relieved it didn't work, because that makes my decisions easy.

Thank you for pandering to Queen Pedantic About Fit.

Trench is KILLER.

Sorry about the RL coat. NEXT.

YAY! I am very pleased with my two NAS items this year, and the start they've given me on my fall wardrobe.

Totally agree with khaki trench and gray sweater.

I really like the khaki trench on you.

Trench is even better now. I can also vouch for London Fog trenches -- I've had one that is going strong for years, since I joined YLF in 2011 -- still wearing it.

And that Jenn, is what the NAS is all about. NICELY DONE.

That trench is such a good fit! I don't know why I have that "polisehd' association with a black trench, actually, since black is the basis of tough and RATE looks. Just something about the trench style + black, I guess.
Maybe it's subliminal, because the men's dress uniform coat when I was in the Army was a black trench. (My women's uniform dress coat was black and single-breasted.)

So glad the Khaki coat is a keeper, and the grey sweater, as well! Boots are insanely tricky -- but at least it's only July!
