Boutique 9 rusty boot...I''m making the purchase today but...

I need some advice on size...I'm a pretty standard 8 1/2 sometimes 8 but not so often. It is frustrating in shoes with no half-sizes as I fall in between. Do these boots fit true to size that I would be safe to only order the 8 1/2?
Also, I was really wanting grey boots as I have knee-high brown Timberlands that I wear all the time. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the camo color in these Boutique 9...

if you were going to make the purchase...which would you choose?

For me personally, the camo ones look like what I see the hunters around here wear. It might be different if I didn't live in a place where hunting is so popular.

I'd get the Boutique 9s, for brand loyalty alone. I have a pair of their boots and they are great quality.

I got the Boutique 9 Rusty in taupe and love them. I would get the 8 1/2 I wear a 9 and that is what I got in these and they fit good. The taupe goes with allot of colors like a neutral would. But I am 50 and if you love the camo color I guess you should go with what you love. But I would not size down to an 8.

I have the taupe and I love them. I found them true to size.
I live in the same area as Sarah and my opinion of the camo ones is the same.
But if you love them them then get them and see what you think!

I think you should get the camo if you really like them better (it sounds like it to me) grey boots are much easier to find..and it seems like you're trying to be more 'practical' rather than following your heart. If you want to wear heavy socks or a insole, I'd size up a bit...I hope you love whichever you get

well, I love the camo, biscuitsmom but for the price...I guess I should go practical and then see how much I love the feel of the boot. If I just love it like I hope I do based on comments and posts on boards, then I will watch and see if the camo go on sale and pick them up. I really want more than one pair of boots and if anyone even knew how many hours I have shopped and read reviews of boots, they would think that I'm crazy...my kids and hubby do!! It's just such a hard decision when price and style are in conflict. I have found soooo many styles but I need to pick just one pair right now! Keep your fingers crossed that I love the ones I ordered!!
