Bought a Skirt

I saw this skirt on ASOS and bought it on impulse. I was thinking it would be really cute layered and with boots or booties. Is it cute? I'm a bit worried it might be too short but love the style. What do you think?

That is very cute.

I always remember when looking at skirt lengths on models in catalogs and such, is that the models are typically a bit taller than me, by at least 2-4", so chances are the hems will hit lower on me than on the model.

It's nice looking. We'll have to judge on you when you have it. I find with tights you can get away with shorter length (and as Janet says it might not be that short on you)

how tall are you? it looks short on the model but models are usually taller than the average person. plus if you plan to wear with boots and tights i think a shorter skirt will work well.

I am 5'5" so it is a bit iffy. The model is 5'9" so it should be about 4" above the knee or less. Opaque tights and boots or booties should offset the shortness and it appears full enough to not ride up when I sit. I find shorter skirts are fine when standing but creep when sitting.

I should have it by the end of next week if it doesn't get hung up in customs.
