I'm supposed to be doing my Astronomy homework right now (bleh, galaxies), but I just had to pop in here and ask how tea was today! I'm so excited!

I'm sure there will be a blog post, but can the forum people get a sneak preview?

I have not downloaded my photos yet...but suffice it to say we had a blast! Angie is all that and more in person! She just oozes beauty! I am thrilled that I got to see Tanya's beautiful face. I met Shiny's husband (but he wasn't wearing a kilt!), and Greenglove and Kellee were a lot of fun to hang out with. Anne and Shiny's VFBF joined us for brunch, but they both had to scoot before we went shopping.

Angie is in Boston 'til Tuesday evening. I'm sure we'll be hearing from her on Wednesday or Thursday the latest.

Ana, I had such an incredible, incredible time! It was a complete blast!

First, I must say how amazing Angie is. I was absolutely thrilled to meet her in person. She is so warm and sweet and kind, and has the cutest accent. I felt like I have known her for years. She is also very pretty and looks so delicate; she's the same height as me but looks tiny beacuse is she is quite small boned.

It was so much fun meeting all the YLF ladies. Everyone was great and friendly, we chatted like we have known each other for years. It was cold and windy, so everyone wore great coats and boots and scarves. The whole group looks super stylish. The brunch was great and then we hit a couple of stores together later, and some ladies came with some amazing scores!

Last, but certainly not least, I also got to meet Greg over tea and dinner. He is also an incredible person, very sweet and friendly. I guess he and Angie make a perfect couple

Oh, and we saw this incredibly cute and super tiny and fluffy baby Pomerian in one store. It completely melted us all away, such cuteness!

Oops, and i forgot to add that I also got to meet Nicole's husband and daughter, and Shiny's DD16. They both have beautiful families.

Ooh thanks for posting this Ana, I was also very curious. I can't wait for Monday's update. I'm sure it will be about the Boston YLF meetup. Which one of you gets the honor of writing it up?

Get those pics off your camera Nicole. I can't WAIT to see them, even if faces are blocked out (though I really hope they aren't).

That's it. I am making it a personal mission to crawl up to Boston somehow and meet you guys. When are you moving to NM Tanya? It will absolutely have to be before you leave. It's weird, but even though I haven't actually met you and you may as well be in NM, I feel sad that you're moving so far away!

I will move only after I graduate, and summer is the earliest possible time, although it looks like it might drag itself out Either way, I'll probably come to NY at least 2 times before I move, so maybe we could meet then . Thank you for such nice thoughts. I am also going to be very sad to move away, I really like Boston, but then I like my BF more

I didn't even realize Angie left until yesterday. Did I miss a big obvious "I'm going to Boston" post? I noticed she hadn't been posting but I didn't know why.

I'm sure I'll still be around whenever you come. You should bring Nicole and Shiny with you

(Maya, Greg and I are still in Boston and off to the two day event this afternoon).

The tea party was BRILLIANT. I sat between Nicole and Tanya and we yakked till the cows came home. Such beautiful lasses inside and out. I felt I’d known them forever. Kellee and Greenglove are long time friends and it was wonderful to meet them. Their warmth shone through. Anne is new in Boston and it was great that she managed to join us as well. Our star poser Shiny is fabulous and we even got to meet some of Nicole and Shiny’s family.

The style quotient sizzled and I miss you already :(.

I have a busy day (week!) but here's a quick sneak-peek, with a few of the photos I took... I have a pic with everyone in it that I will not post - unless I hear the "Okay" - since I know a few people prefer not to have their faces online.

First, let me say I struggled with what to wear. Everyone has seen my entire closet by now. I went through about 5 outfits in the hour beforehand. You'll see later that - ironically, even though I constantly say here that Bostonites always wear black - I *didn't* wear black!!

That wasn't a purposeful move on my part. I just felt comfortable in this outfit - and as extroverted and outgoing as I may seem, I'm actually quite shy when it comes to meeting new people in crowds. So I ultimately went for comfort.

Nicole's family dropped her off at my house - I got to quickly meet her simply beautiful family before they headed out. Photos do not do Nicole or her family justice.

Angie is just what you expect - warm, charming, beautiful, and oozing style from every pore. I coveted her coat, booties and glasses! The only surprises for me: 1) she has an adorable accent; and 2) she is quite delicately framed - I secretly feared the wind might sweep her away!

Me and my VFBF (very fashionable best friend) - her name is Jane. She had a blast meeting everyone! We sat down at the far end of the table and had a great time getting to know GreenGlove and Anne:

Here we are again - I *told* her not to wear her heels! Yes, we often get mistaken for sisters when we are out and about - except I'm the pint-sized version... Jane's fur capelet was an inheritance from her MIL.... I know some people do not like wearing of fur, but as I told Angie while we were in the consignment shop, I'm a-okay with it - PROVIDED it is vintage. I figure it is better than completely wasting the fur by dumping it in the trash.

This last pic is for Maya, since I posted recently about lip gloss. One warning: don't wear lip gloss on windy fall days! This really did happen to me, while we were standing outside of the hotel for the photo shoot - I got attacked by a flying leaf!

Thank you for posting pictures Shiny, I'd been hoping for a preview since yesterday;-)

Sounds like you ladies had a ball (and I can already see that everybody looked a million bucks!).
I was in fits about that last picture by the way: maybe you'd better not pack your lip gloss for your trip to Iceland, it's supposed to be quite windy there;-)

Wow. Wow, wow, wow. What a stylish group you Bostonians are! It was over 85 degrees today here in Los Angeles and I'm drooling over all of your boots and coats and scarves. (I am so NOT a summer person.) I can't wait to see more pics!

Amazing day!! I had so much fun meeting everyone, as Tanya replied it seemed as if we had all known each other for years.
What is there to say that has not already been said about Angie! Stunningly beautiful, charming and most importantly genuine, the real thing. She exudes what she calls effortless style. The ladies were all beautiful and it was so such an joy to spend time with everyone. Thank you to lovely Tanya for choosing a great place for brunch ( the food was delicious) I hope that we can do it again. It is so nice to know that I now have more fashion friends in Boston!

Everyone looks stupendous. I can't wait to see what Tanya wore! I wonder what the people at those restaurants think when they see these YLF get-togethers. They must be drooling with admiration.

Greenglove, it is Shiny who deserves the compliments for choosing the brunch place, not me. She was the one who suggested it.

Maya, you can actually see my outfit on my week of 11/10 thread I have recently posted, it is the Sunday outfit. I am not sure if the restaurant staff was too impressed, they are located on the fanciest street in Boston.
