boot/shoe shopping!! Which boots?

I have been looking for some boots for awhile now, I wanted to get some before all the snow comes. I really should only keep one pair, unless you convince me otherwise! The first pair are from Aldo and the second are from bakers, by chinese laundry. They aren't as orange as they are in the pics. They both are leather. I also got two other shoes from aldo. I can keep both of these. #8 I plan on wearing with bootcut jeans, and #9 with skinnies. I also got this tunic shirt, not sure if a belt would work with it or maybe a scarf? It looks kind of plain in the pictures now that I look at it.

Both pairs of boots are lovely, but the second pair looks like it fits better, so i would keep those. I like the new shoes too! The tunic is nice, and you can try adding some pearls, or wearing it with few top buttons unbuttoned over a lacy cami so that some lace shows.

Nice haul jen! I really like the Aldo boots on you. Nice neutral brown and I like the buckle detail and heel, and they seem to fit in the calf area (a bit hard to tell but my monitor is crappy). The Chinese Laundry ones seem a bit bulky. The clogs and flats are great too

Those clogs are cute! The wedgey heel sends them into my taste territory.

Also, I like the first boots. The colour is awesome and the heel is a really nice shape.

I am partial to the first pair of boots, but that is just me. I like the color better and the buckle details, too. Second ones do look like they might be very comfy. Not much help here. Sorry!

I really like the first pair of boots - I love the details! The second pair seems a bit more dressy, but they look like they're a bit big at the ankle, and to me, they look like they swallow you a bit. Which do you prefer?

My vote is for the first pair of boots. I think the fit and color are better.

Love both pairs of shoes, but are the clogs large enough? When I've tried on these types of shoes I always end up sizing up so my heel doesn't hang over the back.

I like the top too. I wouldn't call it plain at all. I think the right scarf might work but I doubt a belt would work well with it.

I'm going to say 1st pair, because they look soooo good with your leather jacket (and I love that silver bag. I have one very similar and I love it). The other pair wouldn't look right with your brown leather jacket, so I'm wondering if they really would fit into your wardrobe in general? Do you have a lot of other browns that you need to co-ordinate with? I think the second pair would look best with blue tones (navy) or black.

Tarzy- I think I prefer the first pair also. The 2nd pair are more of a slouchy look, maybe you all are right that they swallow me up some.

NK- Thanks for your concern on the clogs, the size larger was too big and my toes slipped around. This size feels good when I walk, my pants should cover that also. It is sorta hard to find comfy shoes, because one foot is a half size or less larger.

Jenava- Thanks for the compliments! The 2nd pair is a cognac color, which I usually like with browns. But I agree I don't think these would look as good with my leather jacket. They look good with my skinnies because the blue in the jean. Both pairs look good with skinnies though.

I'm going to keep the first pair and return the second! Thanks for the help ladies! I just really wanted the 2nd pair to work because of how comfy they felt. But the heel on the first pair of boots really helps elongate me!

I like the first pair best too out of the boots, glad you are keeping them. The clogs are neat and the white shoes are lovely. I had white shoes and found them hard to wear though, do you have a lot of white or white accents to tie in the white shoes?
