Booties, take . . . . infinity?

Okay, I am going to try booties one last time before I give up and declare a truce until fall. I keep coming back to these models. At first I thought a walkable low heel was most important, but I realize once I am able to really use them, I will have a car so it's not paramount like before. Still, if I'm on my feet all night I can't go over 3".
Here's what I'm looking at. I also am debating how casual/dressy I want. I think I want to err on dressy, which makes me sort of second guess the ink DV's (pic 3). Also, I have blue Kickers already for a casual look (pic 4). To add to this, I have the Pilar Abril in snakeskin suede (pic 5), so would the shoes in #2, but in black, be too close??
These are for skinny jeans. I might, might, try with a skirt but am thinking my distressed bf jeans, python cords, leather/suede pants, etc.

Oh, and a dark horse in the running, not because I don't like it, but because it may not have longevity, are these DV's.

I really like the DV's, stunning. You could dress them up or down and the double zips and heels.......What can I say, I love them

I could do what I've only seen others do, and order all 3 at once. What a concept! Compare and contrast.

I very often order several pairs at once, so that I can compare. I say go for it!

I never have, dreading the discussion over the credit card bill, but I think BF and I have turned a corner, as there was not a blink or a word about the leather pants last month.
It would be $300 to do it all at once, but I think I should. It's probably the best way to see which ones work best with my stuff.

Wow - hard choice! If you can handle the hit on your credit card, I'd definitely do the "order-all-at-once" concept! Just going by the pics - I really like #1, #2 (in black) and the DVs!

Mo, I probably shouldn't say this, but...it gets easier the more you do it. :^)

It's helpful sometimes to know the closing date of your credit card cycle. Then you can say, "Hmm, my cycle closed yesterday, although I haven't yet gotten the bill. So I can order a ton of stuff today and return what I don't want and have the returns all processed and good before I even get the next statement."

He he, I did tell the BF to only pay $600 on last month's bill because returns were coming And that included THE leather pants. I'm getting there. I really don't spend a lot of money, so it's mostly in my own head, I'm sure.

I always order multiple sizes to compare, so I know about $$$ hitting the credit card all at once. I decide right away so I can get everything returned within the same cycle. The only time I couldn't do this was when I had my foot surgery. I bought a pair of booties (two sizes) knowing I would have to take the hit and pay for them now and get the return credit months later.

My fav is the pair with the double zips and (is that metallic or acrylic?) heels - rock star chic. For casual and dressy for the most wear, I think #2 would get the most wear.

I love #1 and #3 for everyday wear (even though number one has the little spikes (which I love, BTW!) I think that little bit of adornment is so subtle it would be great for kicking an otherwise subdued "jeans and a sweater" type everyday outfit up a notch without being "over the top" (I also think those would work equally as well with slouchy boyfriend jean looks).

Totally love the dark horse pair, too. I have a pair very similar and they get lots of play. I wear them with usually head to toe black (skinny jeans or leather pants, sweaters or moto jackets) and with a few bold pieces of silver jewelry for contrast.

Love #3 & the dark horse pair. Another yay vote for ordering multiples side by side. I try to time it to the CC billing cycle but sometimes i just need things side by side to know where my dollars are best spent.

(ask DH about the fraud alert phone call to him when i ordered 10 pr of frye to see if one was a winner... All went back before the next cycle which is where quick shipping is really nice)

At the moment, I like the pair in pic 2 (in black) best. I like the others, but I hesitate to get too excited until you know how they fit/feel. I'm glad you're ordering them all to try. Unfortunately, I think that's the only way to go with a boot hunt. I actually gave up on my own black boot hunt a year or two ago, because I felt so guilty about all the pairs I'd ordered only to return.

I'd say order all if you like them but keep close track of the credit balance due date and return the unwanted ones before that. This way you can play but it does not affect your credit card balance, only the ones you will keep will affect it.

The danger I see in ordering multiple pairs at once is liking more than one of them! he he he
I don't think a return online to Amazon would get credited within the same billing cycle even if I hit it at the very beginning. These things just take time, in my experience. Up to a week to get to me, maybe that long to get back to them, then at least another week or two for the credit to post to the account itself. But I think it is worth it put them side by side and compare. In the past I would order one, return, order the next, etc. It would take over a month to try 3 pair out!
As for the front runner, my heart belongs to all 3 for different reasons. I think #2 would be best all around, the dark horse silver heeled DV's fiercest, in a femme fatale kind of way, and #1, the studded detail ones, more straight forward rock 'n roll.
