Booties suggestions for this season?

Hello, I am a long-time ardent follower of youlookfab, but this is the first time I mustered the courage to post on the forum! I love all the useful and supportive suggestions that everyone offers here...its such a lovely community!

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for comfortable ankle booties for this season? I was hoping Angie would do a post sometime soon with her usual rock-solid suggestions! I was looking for something less that 2.5" heel height and can be worn with dresses.

Hi! I'm so glad you had the courage to write! I hope there will be a bootie post soon. (hmm that sounds a little odd--luckily we know this is a fashion site! ; p )

There was a great post last year on booties. Have you tried searching the archives? Also, you might look in the YLF store. I think I remember that all those booties were also featured in the store. Then in addition to Angie's suggestions you would also find customer reviews from the forum members.

I own a fab pair of shooties by BC that Angie included in the store. I've had them for two years and I wear them often with pants, jeans, leggings and dresses. I hope they are still available! If not, there might be a new version? I hope!

I am really happy with my Clark's Indigo booties.

They're comfortable, work with pants and skirts/dresses. In fact, I'm about to post photos of me wearing them with a skirt today. I'm just noticing that the heal is listed as 3", but they don't feel that high to me...

My new Born Ramsey booties look very much like Arya's Clarks. I like them and the lace up works to keep from having too much ankle gap. I also bought a taller pair with fur trim and love them too.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. Clarks is one of my favorite comfort brands, so I am going to try Arya's suggestion. Can I ask if the heel height on it is too high for all day wear?

Sarah, I did look up Angie's post from last year. I think her suggestions were really popular, most are sold out in my size. Am hoping she posts something for this season's collection soon!

I find the Clark's comfortable for all day wear, including sitting at a desk and walking 4 or 5 blocks round-trip a couple of times over the course of the day. For me, they could use a *little* more cushion in the ball of the foot area. I may add a little cushion myself.
