How do your feet handle peep toes and heels? I know a heel like that puts more pressure on the toes.

Yeah, if the heel were about an inch lower I would go for something like this in a flash, even though it is a sort of seasonally confused look for my climate. (If it's hot enough to expose heels and toes, that leather upper is going to be too hot.)

Oh, Mo, I love those. But I also would need a lower heel -- I am hoping for maximum use. Daily, if possible.

I'm okay with the pressure you mentioned, Thistle, but I want a heel that's not too high so that it lessens the issue.

These are lower heel AND the leather is perforated ... does that address the seasonal confusion, Suz?
Not as sleek as the others, but a possible contender? I kind of love the sand nubuck color -- also come in grey and taupe nubuck, and black leather.

UO has a black lower/closed heel one: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com.....HOES_BOOTS but not leather.

I'd be all over it if it were leather, Rabbit! Lucky has a closed toe but open heel (Tashha) that I've been debating too. I want open toes and heels. I want it all. Lol. No, really it just looks more balanced to me to have both heel and toe exposed together
