Bootie shopping: most versatile?

I'm shopping for a neutral bootie that isn't black. I adore these blue ones, but wonder it the grey would be more versatile. At these price points, that's a key consideration. Thoughts? Bootie shopping: most versatile?

Oh, I love the blue ones!
I don't like the shape of the gray ones nearly as well.

ETA: I think the blue ones with go with lots of different colors and outfits: black, gray, red, and of course blue.

The blue, the blue! We are used to seeing denim paired with every color. The color of these is a similar neutral that will not shock anybody, and will go with most everything. Very pretty.

There's absolutely no question that the boots are gorgeous. They're also comfy... Because they're by Acquitalia, and suffice it to say they're not on sale. :p at that prize, I need to make sure they fill a very specific wardrobe function: to go with as many of my outfits as humanly possible. I know a metallic or grey bootie would fulfill that criterion, though I'm not into the grey pair shown above because it feels frumpy to me. If the blue ones have maximum versatility, I'll go back for them. For the moment, though, I've walked away with great difficulty!

Wow, tough one Michelle. They're both lovely and they both look great on you. They will also both work with skirts/dresses and trousers. Which ones are most comfortable?

I like both with a slight preference for the grey because I find that color so easy to wear with everything. I also like the buckle and other foot-shortening details on the grey ones and they look more stable.

You ladies are so great...you're all making me feel much better about my decision to walk away from the tempting blue booties. Angie and others who favour the grey, I was really after something in that shade because of the versatility. The shoe pictured is comfortable, but it wasn't 100% lighting my fire...and it was $100 more expensive than the already incredibly pricy Aquitalia boots. Also, the shoe I had on was a size higher than I truly need, and it turns out the right size is sold out. I'm just not willing to shell out that kind of money for something that doesn't fire me with enthusiasm. I'm sure that somewhere out there is a more economical bootie in a wide width that fits all my criteria...I just haven't found it yet. But thanks to your feedback, I'm at peace with this.
