Shopping in a vintage store this week and the owner had a great idea for keeping shaft of boot straight. I usually revert to the rolled magazine but it is sort of a pain to get them in and out (the best would be real boot forms from The Container Store I know).

The vintage store used empty water bottles. So easy! It seemed that she had spray painted many of them which would be nice looking and consistent in closet but some were not.

I was laughing that I had never thought of such an easy solution (maybe because we don't drink bottled water but it would easy enough to procure some empties from a friend).
