Boot Sadness :(

I ordered a pair of these: (in matte black, not patent)
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/mi.....sultback=0, got them today, and they are way too short, hitting me low knee-cap (and of disappointing quality, IMO). They are essentially SW Cadet knock offs, which are 2" longer and wonderful, I'm sure - but so, so expensive, even on sale. Is the OTK trend one we should anticipate hanging around for a while?

The opposite of purchase euphoria is purchase letdown... It's no fun at all.

I personally think OTK is an evergreen.

I often have trouble with the height of boots since I'm short. I think OTK boots will stick around.

I think there will always be some form of OTK boot, but not always the ones we want. This season has been full of things I love, but last year that was not the case.

Ugh. Waiting for something to arrive and getting hopes up makes it even worse. I'm so sorry for your disapointment. Have you tried on the real McCoy? Sometimes they don't fit and then you aren't pining for them anymore. I actually saw the Cadet over the weekend but had to rush out of the store to go to my son's football game. So close.....and yet so far away. *sigh*
