Angie's twin boot posts have rekindled my desire to find boots that fit. I have tried many a pair but nothing has worked so far. So Beth, you have company!
I am short with Size 9, wide feet and have narrow ankles. I don't know if my calves are truly narrow but most boots feel too loose there. Ideally, I would like something that is knee-high, fitted and has a flat/low heel. Basic black is fine and I can live without interesting detailing if the boot fits.
The Dansko Penelope came *this* close to fitting well except the footbed is narrow compared to their other styles.
