boot color question

Sorry, I posted yesterday just realized the links didn't work the way I meant to in posing the question.
The link takes you to a boot, but I'm wondering which color between the whiskey and taupe would get the most use with denim, black, grey bottoms. I wasn't even thinking of taupe before I saw this boot...had my eye out for the whiskey color but now I'm questioning if taupe would be the more practical choice. I'd love to hear your input.

Tough one, I think, The boots are lovely, and the two colors would work.. I know, not much help. I'm curious which one as well

Since I wear only cool colors, I prefer the Taupe. They are gorgeous.

I think you'd want to go with the Taupe, more contrast against the black and grey.

Hmmm. I was just thinking the Whiskey would be more contrast between the black and gray. Barbara brings up a good point. Do you typically wear warm- or cool-colored tops? That would affect my decision.

I don't think you can go wrong here.
In my opinion, it's more a matter of whether you want your boots to "pop" and be something of a statement piece, or whether you want them to blend into the overall tones of your outfit. I'm not sure the taupe would be a great match for grey bottoms (might get kind of muddy looking) but otherwise I think both are sufficiently neutral to go with a wide range of color schemes.
With Nordstrom, I always tend to buy several options and then return the cast-offs. Might be a better way to judge what really works with your closet?
